Wake up at 1:00pm.. I was really tired :))

Hacked a bit on the GSDV model, I really need a new idea for it.

Mark arrived at 3:40pm with a wonderful 17inch monitor for
my Vaio. After some problems configuring X for it, everything went
fine. I’ve now a really smooth system here ;)

Went to Whole Foods supermarket (www.wholefoodsmarket.com - seems
that everything here has a website).

I’ll start working on the OBD Filesystem tomorrow morning at
the lab. Sound really interesting.

After dinner, readed all my week-end email.. and discovere
some really bad news about the Linux Users Group movement in
Italy.. I hate those people!

As you can see, I’ve changed my “permanent” email
address in cgabriel@softwarelibero.org, as suggested by Mark.

Leaved this morning at 7:20 from Florence directed to Albuquerque.
I’ll work at the Los Alamos National Laboratory for one month.

Supposed to arrive at 18:30 at Santa Fe, unfortunately the flight
from St.Louis to Albuquerque was overbooked. .
Waited 4 hours in Dallas (wow) for the next flight.

Hacked in the waiting lounge on the /dev/me linux kernel driver,
readed two chapters from Antonella’s book and more documentation
from the OBD Filesystem that Mark sended me. Interesting things.

Unsleep today’s record: 47 hours.

Woke up at 12:30. Great headache.

Lunch with Matteo, Daniela and Ciro in Perugia.

Umbria Jazz

Leaved the seaside in the morning.

Went to Perugia to the Umbria Jazz festival, with Ciro and Daniela.

Listened to the Pat Metheny/Micheal Brecker
quartet (with Bill Stuart, really great drummer) and to the Roy
Haynes Trio, with John Patitucci and Danilo Perez.
What a wonderful concert!!!

Went to bed at 5 in the morning, stayed all night in Ciro’s office.

Seaside.

It’s a month (or more) that I’m sick. I’ve made this morning
more analysis to try to discover why I feel so bad.
No one can be proud of me. I’m depressed now, ’cause since I feel
this bad I don’t produce. I hate this world.

Mark phoned me in the evening from Los Alamos, asking about
my sister. We discussed a bit about my trip to the Lab on
August. Seems that I’ve a car - sounds nice.

I still don’t know if I’m going or not to the Lab, since my
sister is still at the hospital and I’m not feeling really well.

BTW I’m also lucky, I’ve Antonella.
